Only from this angle the plain white convertible presented its performance insiginias to the onlookers. Visiting a few Beergardens, many took a second look and left their beer alone for a moment to move closer with a "Thumbs up" 

The Aying brewery south of Munich is only one of the hundreds in Bavaria. Take your time while travelling to Germany and get too meet Mustang maniacs down there. The Autobahn isn't anymore what it used to be with todays truck jamming up the right lanes, but it still offers short distances for high-speed travelling in style - Cobra Jet style. But I found out that multiple on- or off-ramp acceleration and deceleration offers even more fun. 

I would like to express my deepest "Thanks a lot" for this experience to well-known Mustang and Corvette maniac Karl Geiger from Geiger Performance. Karl is 30 years in the business in Germany and has survived them all that popped up and disappeared in the import business. Known as well for  building once and then a speciality car like a 700HP Ford GT, multiple outstanding showstopper Corvettes and Hummers plus F-series, he is just putting his hands on his own 700HP plus version of a hot Muscle-Mustang to show up at oncoming events. Karl sold 300 Mustangs so far.

Wish we could stop Shelby American (with Ford behind it), selfish editors and others ...all going wild with more or less justified emotions revving up ...from splitting our Mustang scene with lawyers, hate mails and publications and leave the name Shelby sticking again to  performance cars rather than lawsuits, personal attacks and commercial moves.

It is a pity to see journalists falling over for the sake of their income, publications being steered by business managers that don't have a clue of deeply routed Mustang enthusiasm, using their publications as testbeds for manufacturers product launches instead of providing professional neutral journalism that balances critics, opinions and counterviews, while keeping everything in perspective and put their comments in sidebars instead of editorials or Editors columns. It really hurts to see the Mustang/Shelby attitude going down. The future might be characterised by the same "closed hood mentality" like in other car scenes.
