Hello there,
I am Patrick Simons from the Netherlands. I am the new owner of this 1968 Group II T/A replica built in the U.S. I purchased the car in 2007 in Denver Colorado. It's partly built by Walt and Chip Hane as you can read in the right section of this site, which is a copy of what the former owner e-mailed me.

Details about my car from the sales ad:
"Built in 2002 paying
attention to strict 1972 GCR regulations (have copies of 72 GCR and
68 SCCA homoligation rules). Documentation of all parts used
and dyno sheets. Completely legal for all vintage racing sanctions.
Very good condition. Has seen 5 weekends of racing since built. Well tested, will not be a maintenance headache at the track. Race ready with new tires and brakes all the way around. Body professionally stitch welded with fender flares done by Bob Hill, professional race car builder. Suspension and rear axle assembly done by EPS Walt Hane/Chip Hane. Engine built by Ridge Reamer. Dynoed and tuned by EPS. Interior rollcage done by professional rollcage builder in Denver." Patrick tells us more:
The Trans am cars from
that period have always been my favorite, cause they really
have the "Muscle Car" looks.
I have raced it on track
day's, and I am going to do some minor technical changes
to it, like putting a new roll cage that is FIA aproved, so I can
use it for official historic racing next year.
Below is some more
technical information of my car.
