August ,22nd, 2016 David Redhead has a McQueen dummy at the wheel Of course not during driving, but with his group of famous movie car replica owners he is quite often in the centerspot of interest at big car shows. This time he suprised the crowd again at a Buster Lang American Car Show in Sandown/UK with his McQueen dummy at the wheel. The date was 13/14th. August and many visitors will certainly remember "HIM". |

July 2nd, 2016 Lalo Schiffrin would have composed it this way these days The modern touch applied to his Bullitt movie music was certainly not intended by the composers today, rather trying to avoid licencing issues, but it is a remarkable interpretation and very well done with the new Zagato Vanquish. Somehow even the car would fit in a more elegant casino version and could be a good successor in the right colour - dark highland green. Check this video out and judge yourself, it they hit the right tune. Turn the volume up to enjoy both the music, the engine sound, the landscape and the composing of it. Very well done. |

May 26th, 2016 The weekend around May 13th, 2016 saw the first Steve McQueen rally 2016 Every year in June, the Friends of Steve McQueen put on a Friday night dinner followed by a Saturday car show. This past May 2016 was the first year road rally to raise money and awareness of the "Boy's Republic Car Show" in June . Cars of many makes and models made the travel through Southern California's most picturesque roads, all to benefit the school for wayward boys that McQueen had attended as a youth. The inaugural rally left Malibu and headed through Malibu Canyon. Then in the afternoon on the road again for a scenic drive to Ojai and Lake Casitas before arriving at Fess Parker Doubletree by Hilton Resort in Santa Barbara for dinner and overnight lodging. The second day ended in Solvang and the Santa Ynes District, returning in the afternoon to Santa Barbara. The first planned stop from the rally was at theommemorative Airforce Museum"Commemorative Airforce Museum where participants could park amongst vintage aircraft. Chad McQueen dropped in to say hi and show his appreciation for the participants contributing to the Boys Republic cause. |

May
25th, 2016 The agency informed us that the photographer was interested in the 1968 Charger but nothing etched in stone. Frank and I made tentative plans to participate in the "Boy's Republic" first rally" weekend of May 13, 2016 bring down the 68' Charger to Southern Calif. As, the weeks went by, the agency called back that the photo shoot may include the Bullitt Mustang. The calls went silent, now we had no clue if it was still on or the project might have been scraped. Finally, Frank gets the call that we have been waiting for and was informed that the Bullitt car was to be used and how quickly can you get to the location under the Golden Gate Bridge,Fort Point, Monday afternoon during the 5 o'clock commute traffic? Well, the location had to be changed at the last
minute because of the sunset and we ended
across and under the
north tower of Fort Cronkite.
It was amazing watching the talent from model to the
photographer as the day light was leaving and dusk was approaching.

Frank's Bullitt Mustang has seen a lot but this one put's a smile on it's grill |
May 22nd, 2016 Frank's Panacci's Bullitt
Mustang was chosen to be in the 2016 Neiman Marcus Fall
Catalog. The photo shoot location
took place early morning in the Marin Highlands north of the Golden Gate
Bridge.
We meet world renown
photographer Kyle Gustafsson and supermodel Clement Chabernaud At
times, we could see a resemblance of Steve McQueen that was captured by the
different outfits or by the way he looked behind the wheel.
As, the Mustang was being set up on its mark for the
photographer and models, the Bullitt car was getting a lot of distraction
and attention from the crew and onlookers As we chatted through out the day
I learned that Clement spoke many languages besides English. So, we spoke
Italian which is my first language and we became piasani's
(Italian for friends). What a down to earth guy. Wardrobe changes were interesting. It took 3
assistance to get him in and out and into another set of cloths within
minutes. If the garments or items were oversized, the assistant would pin it
up out of camera sight. The weather that day was in the upper 80's and
wearing winter cloths was not fun for Clement, the make up artist had to
adjust not to show the sweat Kyle was awesome
with his vision through the lens of what the client wanted. He couldn't wait, when it was time to change photo
shoot location, so that he would be in the passenger seat of the Bullitt
car. |

March 19th, 2016 When you read this here first time, you have missed it . A one time memorabilia was on the market in late 2015 and caused quite some noise amongst the movie insiders. One of the original movie licence plates mounted on the actual Bullitt Mustang changed hands and the deal included a set of never seen eye witnesses prints from the filming in SFO. The set changed hands for 10.000 Dollar US in London/UK. The lucky owner now just has to join it with the real surviving car...somehow. |

This year, the show will feature a “911 BR” project car, to be financed and

February 9th, 2016 For replica owners, who want an extra step of detailing, a new version of the genuine Secura Wheel S7MS-3600 is now available, a so called Corso Feroce branded 1967 GT350 and GT500 Shelby replica wheel with officially licenced horn buttons. The wheel sells for roundabout 300 plus the hornbutton of roughly 200 and an adapter ring extra. It is available from Scrott Drake dealers. It looks good and if Scott Drake does it, it should be pretty good enough for the extra touch of Bullitt feeling with a leather wrap over the wooden ring anyway except for the proper stamping. At least they will remain recognizable for later owners. A side to side comparison of a NOS wheel, the Drake wheel and the european reproduction from Switzerland is available in the SAAC forum. |

December 27th, 2015 Once and then we learn about one being for sale. This 302 powered Bullitt replica is now in Surrey/UK. TJ wants to sell it for the price of 54.000 Pound Sterling. TJ informs us that the last 2 sold Bullitt replicas (one with automatic gear and dark moss green) also went for prices above 50.000 there, so we'll see. If you want to get in touch, pass us a line or two with a reason why you are seriously interested. |

November 25th, 2015 Frank Panacci passed away at the age of 91. We received this obituary from Anthony Bologna. Frank was a respected navy, police and community member and reveived multiple awards during his life. We all know him from playing a role in the Bullitt movie and becoming a friend of Steve McQueen. He retired in 1981 from the police service and enjoyed aside from his family another car life since then. Rest in peace. Frank and we are with his family these days. |

November 7th, 2015 8T02C139037 is the VIN of the Bullitt replica used in the latest Blue Bloods episode 7 of season 6 aired on Nov. 6th. It was completely rebuilt in 4 years by the owner, a 390 was built in and many details done very accurately from a true movie enthusiast... and not left alone on the film set for one second. Even if it meant waiting until 5.a.m. in the morning one night. The car is now on ebay. Tom Selleck plays in the episode, where two cops find the last owner of the surviving Bullitt Mustang, a fictionary story, as we all know, but good for the mystery to be kept further down the road. Anthony Edwards plays that owner Owen Cairo in the Blue Bloods sequence. |
|
October 12th, 2015 Not news, but if you ever wanted to see an idea for a more modern street race in the Bullitt style this is a nice made animation by an enthusiast "dunky 1994" based on the GTA5 game and its editor. Have fun and take your time in watching it here |

September 30th, 2015 Neiman Marcus is a fashion retailer and C. Robinson Productions produced a new commercial starring a Bullitt Mustang from Frank Panacchi...and well some actors dressed out to promote "the Art of Fashion" on the occasion of Neimans new Fashion book in October 2015. "The Nights in White Satin" from the Moody Blues seems to be the right music with it, but it also causes some youtube sites outside of the US to block it for licencing reasons, so if you want to see it, browse for proper IP download tools considering your local laws:-) If you are in the US, visit this link Photo courtesy C.Robinson Productions |

August 26th, 2015 Can you picture the serious background of this one? Actually this is an early raw dummy for a superdetailed new green car that can be driven against a black car in a scenery that many of us might link to a famous movie scene. Got the message? If not, stay tuned. This is going to be a real exciting effort of people that love the theme, doing these things and are top notch professionals in their related digital world. First class technology is applied to make this happening. We are following it for almost a half year and it is slowly shaping up. Might come up in 2017. |

July 26th, 2015 Sad news from Hollywood Bullitt actor, Al Checco, who played the Desk Clerk at the Hotel Daniels, died last week...told us Mike Farrell. Sorry to hear, another genuine person of the famous movie has passed. |

June 29th, 2015 Automotive
and motorcycle enthusiasts flocked to Boys Republic in Chino Hills,
California on June 6 to attend the 8th
Annual Friends of Steve McQueen Car and
Motorcycle Show. This year’s theme revolved around director Bruce
Brown’s 1971 documentary film “On Any Sunday,” in which actor Steve McQueen
appeared. Friday night quests enjoyed wine and
sampled hors d’oeuvres at a reception that included silent auction items.
Then we adjourned to the campus gym to dine on steak and prawns, a meal
planned, prepared and served by Boys Republic students. Dave Kunz, ABC7 Eyewitness News Automotive
SpecialistTelevision personality was the master of ceremony ...Matt Rogers
took to the podium to chant a rousing live auction, raising nearly $115,000
for the school. The car and motorcycle show took center
stage on Saturday with an array of cars, motorcycles, vintage trucks. Every
year the car entries gets bigger as word is getting out that this is the
"Shows of Shows". Tours of the campus were ongoing and for those seeking a
bird’s eye view of the campus ,glider rides circled lazily overhead.
Motocross exhibitions took place all day long on a track constructed
specifically for the show. Mecum Auctions was on hand with a display of
McQueen’s 1976 Porsche 930 Turbo. The vehicle will serve as the headline
offering at the Mecum Monterey Auction in August, with a portion of the
proceeds donated to Boys Republic by the seller. Steve McQueen movie “Bullitt” displayed many
“Bullitt" cars from The Southern California Bullitt Club.
Many new vendors on Saturday's car show
circled the track field with car collection artifacts and great food. This
year a booth of baked goods by Boys Republic students at their own teaching
bakery was a big seller. “The sold out Friday night fundraiser dinner, live
and silent auction will help the school toward the construction of the new
culinary training kitchen.” Over the past eight years, the car and motorcycle
show has raised more than $1 million dollars, with the this year being over
the mark from last years The trophies awards were constructed by the
students from car parts that were donated. They were on display on
the the dinner tables as a center piece for all to see. “The Friends of Steve McQueen Car show has McQueen
passions, one being the Boys Republic, the other being cars and motorcycles.
Special thanks to Ron Harris,Chad
McQueen, Peter Dunkel and their tireless staff and volunteers that make this
show every year look effortless and successful |

June 4th, 2015 We got more feedback on the special American Racing rims and more from David Redhead/UK. Readers of this site may remember him from the sequel he wrote and photographed as a suggestion and his 2014 Silverstone 50th commercial appearance with his mates Charger. David is the utter Bullitt maniac from the UK, if not Europe, but there are many ways of being a Bullitt maniac of course. David studied every detail and collects whatever comes his way about our famous movie and chase scene. A huge collection of Then and Now items is now in his hands. In this case of one of the mysteries also. David seems to have had all the luck in obtaining a close to original set of AR rims for his replica. Check out the shape of the AR spokes on the right and read more. |

May 25th, 2015 Mississipi is the place where dreams come true! Not only Huck Finn had a dream back then of escaping the narrow roads of a daily life, Barry and Mary Ellis from MS thought one day about expansion of their horizon with the McQueen spirit and are now part of the Bullitt replica owner gang over here at the Bullitt Enthusiast site. Read more about their dream car that enriches their life these days. It is our 37th. US Bullitt Mustang replica registered in over 22 years. |

May 7th, 2015 One of the last Bullitt mysteries solved! The Paint, the Dings and the Dents. David Kunz met at a recent L.A. car show Lee Brown. Does not sound spectacular? Think again. Lee turned out to be the guy who turned two the brandnew Mustangs into the Bullitt movie cars. Max Balchowski did all the mechanics, but Lee from Precision Auto Body in Hollywood was responsible for the look and feel of the cars - McQueen style. Read about the history making bits that might stir up all Bullit maniacs to go out and think about their replica luster and straight bodywork again. Now you will learn how to do it right. Read more |

|
April 22nd, 2015 There is a long-running question about which reproduction wheels are exactly like the ones on the Bullitt movie car. The answer seems to be: neither. Using some of the more recently-discovered close-up still shots of the front wheel of the car, and doing a bit of research on sites that detail the history of aftermarket wheels, it seems that the American Racing wheels on McQueen’s car were the Torq Thrust D. However, the versions made in the 1960s were different than the modern reproductions. |
Developed originally for the Corvette when it received disc brakes in 1965,
the design of the Torq Thrust D featured a hub that was placed farther out
from the centerline of the rim, and spokes that curved inward toward the rim
at their outer portion.
Above
is a picture of a vintage Torq Thrust D wheel on a 1967 Corvette I saw
recently at a show.
Many took pictures
of these rims.
Perhaps Corvette people are trying to convince American Racing to reproduce
the original wheel design. Even if they do, they wouldn’t fit a Mustang,
obviously. |
March 6th, 2015 Ever dreamt of watching an extended chase scene of the Bullitt Movie? Dustin H. recommends to watch this new Archer episode clip If you have little time jump the commercial and along the timeline to minute 9.50 and watch until about minute 18. That should be plenty of hairraising action. The attention to details in the scenes is amazing, georgious and outstanding ...as Americans would say. We in Europe would say "Wow", well something like that.., :-) A brief quote from Ashley Burns interview: "As Archer’s production designer and art director Neal Holman explained, there is really no greater car chase scene to work with." |

January 8th, 2015 Limited Bullitt artwork It seems that whereever I go, I stumble over Bullitt stuff. This is the fine artwork of Nicholas Watts. 50 of these limited prints are available for roundabout 175 Pound Sterling in UK or 495 Dollar in the US as far as I understood it. Wether this was the original, I can't say. Looks good with the framed signatures and comment. I think it is not new on the market, as I recall some previous information, but anyway this is a nice to have collector item for sure. Pictured at the Interclassics exhibition. |

December 28, 2014 Andrew Abbey finished his Bullitt. In March 14 we got a pre-information and now Andrew got the final touches done proudly displaying it at the Keels & Wheels that was hosted at the Lakewood Yacht Club. Correct JJZ 109 licence plate of course attached. I will add more pictures to a new replica subpage soon. |

November 16th, Americarna features true American icons. One of the best known around the world is certainly the Bullitt Mustang and Steve McQueen driving it. Velocitys video series Americarna will feature very soon our favourite Mustang. Stay tuned for the announcement, unless WB licensing makes the project a no-show. Update Dec. 2014: No more mentioning on their website. Hmmm, they might have got into trouble with WB licensing? |
|
October 31st, 2014 The Autoworld Expo in Bruxelles/Belgium hosted a nice display set-up of a 1968 (o.k. 1967 instead), 2001 and 2008 Bullitt for movie afacinados. Aside from that a Goldfinger white 1965 convertible replica, a 1967 Fast and Furious clone and an Eleanor was displayed. |
|
September 25th, 2014 Mark Johnson from Queensland/ Australia finished his project just now after a period of roughly 19 month. He approaced us first in February 2013. Mark is our 5th registered Bullitt replica from down under. Not too bad, but still not enough down there. See his RHD Bullitt replica now here |

September 19th, 2014 Ever heard about the BULLITT DOLLY? Without one guy the movie Bullitt would not have been a big success, frankly spoken. That is camera operator Gaylin Schultz. In his own circles of camera operators he got an award for the best camera operator of mobile equipment in the year 2000. In 2008 year he passed away in his age of 82. But it took a few more years to e-print some of his pictures in a new book on the most famous camera operators. James C. Udel compiled details and pictures on several pages in his new book. Availabable as an e-book for 15.95 you can download it at their website. Our recommendation: Worth to read the details about the rock-solid Bullitt Dolly invented by Gaylin, that only made the film sequences possible inside the car without any wobbling. See also a bigger part of the Gaylin Schultz interview on James video hotspot. |

August 8th, 2014 What's the next best thing to riding the original Bullitt Mustang? We think driving with Dave Kunz in his 390 GT Bullitt replica is one of those options. Although he did not caught the idea of Fireball Tims challenge for doing a jump, the dialogue along the route reveals some particulars. Watch this 11 minutes video and get close up to an absolute car nut, who was a regular shop window "sticker" at the Barris Kustom garage, has probably one of the biggest 70ies car chase movie collections and learn some more, how it is to get paid for a reporter job and not being paid for regular car show moderations, both offering the biggest fun in his life. |

August 7th, 2014 We finally received via Allan Spencer the original digitized material of the sequence of the Dodge Dart May 2013 commercial, where Frank Panaccis Charger played a major role. Anthony Bologna and Frank helped the filmmakers from thirtymovie.com back then to create an exciting movie sequence that captured the spirit of 1968. Watch it here on our youtube channel. August 1st, 2014 Silverstone Classics was a blast says Geoffrey from the Flanders based Mustangdrivers.be website. He visited Silverstone and reports of the exciting 50th Mustang anniversary there. We would like to pick his shot with the Dodge Charger and Ford Mustang Bullitt replicas from David Redhead and his mate Chris. A cool event in the hot summer. July 14th, 2014 Chad McQueen visited Le Mans Classic in July 2014 in France to celebrate with Ford France the movie Le Mans. He prepared a documentary on his fathers famous Le Mans filming already since January with a UK based company. In February they visited already Siegfried Rauch in Germany for one of the interviews that will appear in the documentary movie. Other genuine guys will be David Piper and Derek Bell amongst others. Chad was filmed in Le Mans "walking the track". Aside from a visit to the Mustang open air cinema during LMC and driving in one of the Mustang parade cars the famous circuit itself and night action was for sure a big highlight. Stay tuned for the interesting movie project early 2015. The right have been already sold to a number of known outlets. |

July 7th, 2014 Steve McQueens 1966 Ferrari 275GTB/4 gets under the hammer at the R/M auction mid August. It is worth to mention here, since it seems to have made its first more important"movie site" appearance during the filming of BULLITT. We don't know wether Steve took it for a jump in SFO,but at least he may have tried to do so. If anybody has another shot of it being on the scene, just send us a note and of course the picture. It is a dark red one (not the typical Ferrari red). R/M expects 9 to 12 million Dollar for it. My personal guess is about 7, but don't ask me why. |

A big thank you to Director of the Boys Republic Chris Burns, Car show committees Ron Harris, Chad McQueen ,Peter Dunkel and the many many volunteers in front and behind the scenes. |
The Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show took place on June 6-7, 2014 at the Boys Republic of Chino Hills, California.

Friday night’s celebration feature no host cocktails with sampling the many delights. Followed by a Lobster dinner on the football field. Dinner was prepared and served in style by students of the Boys Republic. Over 500 dinners were served by the in house catering department class that the students were so involved. The emceed for the evening was Matt Stone automotive author and expert which include a silent auction, and a high-energy live auction. Saturday's Awards MC was David Kunz from KABC Channel 7 Bruce Meyers, creator of the legendary Meyers Manx, the dune buggy that became an icon of pop culture,” was on display. The Friends of Steve McQueen Car and Motorcycle Show has experienced steady growth and increasing popularity by the array of more than 300 classic cars and nearly 100 motorcycles at the 2013 show. Waves of attendees perused the grounds, enjoying up close and personal views of collectible cars and motorcycles. Last year’s event donated over $210,000 to the Boys Republic, established in 1907 as a private, non-profit community for at-risk teens. We hope this year was a bigger success. Alumnus Steve McQueen attended from 1947-49 and credited the school with pointing him on the path to success. McQueen never forgot and was a frequent visitor, even after he became a Hollywood star and legend. The McQueen family continues that involvement. |

May 25th, 2014 Looks like a very well done Bullitt replica? Well, yes it is somehow derive since being a 67 and just has right color and licence plate duplicate, but with the extra fun factor to have a FASTback for the FAST rides and a CONVertible for the CONVenient rides. . John built this BULLITT Special with 43.000 Dollar invested as he states. The ebay auction is just now at 25.000, reserve of course not met. |
Have a look at the extraordinary work. |

2014 The McQueen Bullitt Feinstein picture show A decade ago or more, I searched for Mel Traxel, who was on site during the Making of our favourite movie. Not knowing that he died around 2000, these days he gets his fame again. How could we have missed this one? Pointed to it through our friend Guillaume Vesnat from Heritage Mustangs, we found out about a recent photographic show of the outstanding pictures of Mel Traxel/Barry Feinstein, who were friends of McQueen and took pictures of him during the late 60ies. More important for us, they preserved unseen pictures of the Making of the Bullitt chase scenes in April 1968. Contact sheets of Mel Traxels pictures are available at RAP for quite some amount. The more interesting ones are gone by now, but the pics itself will certainly pop up more often now. On right we see Steve McQueen and most probably Bill Hickman behind him with the final stunt scene Mustang at the Guadeloupe Canyon Way. More pictures that have never been published in the new book available on amazon or from www.reelartpress.com. Video of the London Soho show in January 2014 |
David Redhead displayed his and his mates cars at the Custom Factory display on the upper level of a parking house in Soho/London. The best shots of Barry Feinsteins new McQueen "Unseen" book were on display there. |

20th, 2014 When filming a car in action in a movie, brake lights or continously flashing turn indicators can be a pain to the production team. Especially in a stunt drive like in BULLITT, these things would kill an otherwise good looking sequence. Typically they remove simply the bulbs. When a car is driven on public roads however, the bulbs may have to be activated. Such a device was obviously used in the BULLITT Mustang(s). The Blueray version revealed this set-up at the left side of the steering column. Glen Kalmack came to the conclusion that he had to reproduce this device for his replica. See the resemblance of both devices back in 1968 and now in Glens car. |

January 18th, 2014 Movie Screen Heroe BULLITT leads the 50th Anniversary Parade The Pacecar of the first european 50th Anniversary Car Show - what better Mustang could it be than a 1968 original S-Code from Belgium. This one was the center piece of a Mustang Big Screen Heroes Special Display arranged by the Belgium Mustang and Cougar Club and Adelbert from THE MUSTANG GARAGE. Almost every bypassing visitor at the Interclassics in Maastricht knew this Mustang was once driven by Steve McQueen. The recognition of this icon is very high amongst classic car enthusiasts. The Interclassics drew last year 22.000 visitors and is expecting to grow even more. See more pics in our Bullitt replica collection. |
See a short video I took while a local WDR TV team was there to report about the 5 Movie Screen Heroes from BULLITT, THUNDERBALL, GISS 1972 and 2000 plus DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER and not to forget the white convertible from GOLDFINGER. This was a great starter for the many 50th Anniversaries to come. Thanks to Adelbert and the BMCC team members. (Sorry for the missing tone.) |
Jan 17th, 2014 Our enthusiasts club member Scott Allnut notified us that at yesterdays Bonhams auction in Scottsdale the Gateway Classic Mustang built Bullitt replica of Chad McQueen fetched 88.000 Dollar plus buyers fees. There are interesting pics of the 1968 reproduction Manufacturer tags on the Bonhams site. His 2008 Bullit #0001 fetched 49.500 plus fees. Seems the other 2 lots (jacket and screenplay) were not sold. |

Jan 14th, 2014 The Grandfather/Grandson thing Robert bought this very nice 1968 in 2009 and restored it with his grandson until the end of 2013. Austin was so thankful enough to write us. "You guys seem to have a great club with true enthusiasts of Bullitt Mustangs and we would love to have our car on the website." Well, done, Austin. Now live in the US replica section |

Jan 4th, 2014 When it comes to Bullitt artwork, of course individual taste is different, but for some reason it used to be somewhat focussed on the car and McQueen only, which is certainly "pure" enough in Steves opinion. But this new one from Wolfgang D'Autriche caught my eye. It looks rather "fresh" with the SFO background and had a message of "must-have". It was even better in reality than this small picture gives credit and with 140cm x 100cm quite decorative. Now hanging on my Mustang office wall:-) Wolfgang D'Autriche was not interested to do a small run for us, but he does other excellent McQueen artwork in Germany. If you want a lead, send me a mail. |

December 25th, 2013 Perhaps no other piece of clothing was more important than the wool three-button jacket with suede elbow patches, which was a creation of Academy Award-winning costume designer Theadora van Runkle. The tweed jacket, worn by McQueen throughout the chase is again at an auction! This piece has been in the hands of the McQueen family for fortysix years, so the sale at a June 2013 event was what? Visit the Bonhams Scottsdale auction on January 16th, 2014 Though we wonder that it is again at an auction after the June event 2013, where it fetched reportedly 720.000 Dollar |
Not Sold this time. 120.000 was the high bid. |

December 15th, 2013 David Redhead - the Bullitt enthusiast with the sequel we freatured here - sent us this nice shot of their Bullitt pair car chase in the UK. Seems the Mustang can indeed hold up to the speed of a Charger, but let's not start a discussion about that:-) |

December 12th. 2013 What a fantastic year 2013! Proclamation in the City and County of San Francisco Anthony would like to send a big thank you to all the Bullitt enthusiasts that helped in the Bullitt related proclamation in Brisbane, where the most famous movie car chase ended. Tony Piazza showed a never published 8mm film of the 68 Charger crashing that might need further examination. Read Anthonys report here |

Dec. 3rd 2013 The next Bullitt SE in 2017-2018? 2 days before the official launch of the Mustang VI we got the first teaser and had time to play with it before the embargo ended. The DHG makes a good color combination for this car, though it won't be available in the first run..certainly reserved for things to com. |

Nov. 28th, 2013 Herve Attia did an outstanding job in synchronizing a todays Bullitt tour through San Francisco and its outskirts with the original movie sequences. Sort of "Then and Now" scene by scene. Hundreds, if not thousands of hours must have went it getting all sequences done in the right timing (or rather proper preparation), so Herve deserves a Best of 2013 movie award for his tremendous job. Have a look at all the detailed locations, he found and catched in a split-screen format. Click here |

Nov. 12th, 2013 A new Bullitt toy in Munich This one got my attention. Bought at a US auction, the latest owner decided to part with it again due to health issues. Now on sale for 89.000 Euro roughly. The Toystore has a number of very decent auction cars in their showroom. This certainly belongs there or in the hands of a careful new owner. It has a 390 cui engine. More in our replica section soon. Note: If you recognize your previous car, send us a mail. |
