Walt Boeninger has a name in the Mustang scene and being the editor of the Norcal SAAC group and a Shelby Trans Am site of his own, we just need to put up a link here to his excellent site.

Walt is the  proud owner of this 1967 Shelby Hardtop Group 2 Mustang #23 (7R01K218306).

According to Walts webpage this car was raced in Trans Am Races and thus is one of the few real T/A Shelby Hardtops, which makes a big difference for todays vintage racing.
